Hosted by Alissa HunicuttAlissa Hunnicutt has a passion for blending singing and puppetry. She is the resident puppeteer at Mount Sinai Kravis Childrens Hospital working both on-camera on KidZoneTV and leading puppet-building workshops. Alissa has been a featured participant at the ONeill National Puppetry Conference and has performed at Great Small Works 8th & 9th International Toy Theater Festivals. The short film she created with Frankie Cordero, Cant Buy My Love, was included in the Puppets on Film Festival at BAM this year. Alissas puppet theater credits include playing Fritz, the gay terrorist, in Die Hard the Puppet Musical, all of the puppet characters in Live Nude Girl, Mustard the Dog in The Tales of Custard the Dragon, the feet of Pinokenstein, and EGO, Mick Jagger and Underbed Alligator in The Continuing Story of Carla Rhodes and a member of Cosmic Bicycle Theaters Edward Lears Absurd-Ditties and the UNIMA Award-winning cast of Kevin Augustines BRIDE. Alissas original show, The Kid Inside, has been seen at cabaret venues and Dixon Place in NYC, and was featured as part of the 2010 Orlando Puppet Festival. Alissa holds a Master of Music degree from Manhattan School of Music.
